Build proposals
Installation scope and proposal notes
Show included work clearly and keep empty or unchecked items off the customer copy. The installation section explains what is included beyond the equipment itself. Only checked checklist items and nonempty custom work appear in the customer preview.
Complete the scope checklist
Scope is grouped into four sections:
| Section | Typical topics |
|---|---|
| Indoor Section | Removal, flooring, suspension, gas, venting, cleaner, thermostat |
| Outdoor Section | Removal, pad, refrigerant line set, disconnect, conduit, wiring |
| Ductwork | Plenum, return, connectors, sealing |
| Miscellaneous | Codes and work-area cleanup |
Check an item only when it is included in this proposal. Use Other under the appropriate section for job-specific work. Write complete customer-facing language rather than a private reminder.
Add proposal notes
Use Proposal notes for general qualifications, scheduling context, or other customer-facing information that applies to the proposal. Enter one note per line; every nonempty line becomes a bullet in the preview.
Use Additional option notes inside an equipment option for facts that apply only to that choice.
Review for omissions
Because unchecked and empty items disappear automatically, scan the finished preview. Confirm that the absence of an item means “not included,” not “forgotten during entry.”
